Expectedly, the ZTE has introduced its Nubia series in Indian market, with the launch of Nubia Z9 mini. The phone has been set for INR 16,999 ($266), and will be available in white and black exclusively through Amazon India, starting today.
The Nubia Z9 mini was initially launched along with Nubia Z9 Max in March and both are almost similar in terms of specification, with the major difference of display size. The Z9 mini sports a 5-inch 1080p display with a pixel density of 441ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The handset runs Android 5.0.2 with Nubia UI 2.8, and is powered by an octa core Snapdragon 615 chipset. It packs 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 16GB built-in storage, a 16 megapixel SONY IMX234 Exmor RS sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, an 8 megapixel front snapper with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2,900mAh battery. The Nubia Z9 mini measures 141.3×69.8×8.2mm and weighs 147g.
Currently, there is no word on other Nubia series smartphones to launch in India.
