Chinese company Zopo has entered in India with its new trending smartphone, the Zopo Speed 7. Priced at Rs. 12,999, the phone is exclusive to Snapdeal, and will be available starting first week of next month i.e. September. The Zopo has introduced the mobile in collaboration with Indian brand Adcom, which will be responsible for all the service support, marketing, and sales.
The ZOPO Speed 7 features a glossy framework running along their borders. Equipped with a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with ultra thin bezels, the phone features a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 chipset, clocked at 1.5GHz. It comes with 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of onboard storage that is further expandable up to 64GB.
Zopo has used a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, and a 5 megapixel unit keeps you busy with selfies. Additionally, the phone comes with Face Beauty 4.0, which is said to enhance the selfie experience.
Powering by a 2,500mAh battery, the Zopo Speed 7 features 4G LTE connectivity, however, it supports only FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), which has not been used by Indian operators as of now.
It is worth noting that the Chinese brand also has a bigger variant, named Speed 7 Plus. The phone is currently not offered in the country, but if Speed 7 gets high response, we could expect the larger handset soon.
