Xiaomi has just announced a new smartphone that could be one of the cheapest phones with powerful features. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 has been unveiled at a surprisingly low price of just $125 (799 yuan). And it comes with the most powerful MediaTek chip, and the Helio X10 used on some devices that are a lot more costly.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is a 5.5-inch device, and has the signature design language with several color variants and will be sold out in 16GB and 32GB versions ( the larger capacity model, 32GB, is a little bit more expensive with and official price tag of $156 or 999 yuan)

The 16GB versions features a 13MP camera, 5MP front shooter, Wi-Fi ac, dual-SIM 4G connectivity and a 3,020mAh battery. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is said to be the first to run Xiaomi’s latest MIUI 7 atop Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The 13MP camera unit comes with phase-detection autofocus and a focus speed of just 0.1 seconds. The phone measures 152mm x 76mm x 8.25mm, with an overall weight of 160g. The phone will be available in several colors including white, black, pink, brown, and light blue.
