Redmi series is the pride of Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi. The Redmi series brings a unique blend of great features, design, and price to the users. Xiaomi Redmi 3 (all the three variants) is still selling like hot cakes in the global market and the Redmi 4 is not expected anytime before the next year. But the tech world is already abuzz with the rumours surrounding the Xiaomi Redmi 4.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3 is currently available in three variants: Redmi 3 Pro with Snapdragon 616 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a fingerprint sensor. The Redmi 3 sports the same chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. It is, however, sans the fingerprint sensor. The latest addition to this series is the Redmi 3s. It is powered by a Snapdragon 430 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. It also includes the fingerprint scanner.
If the latest reports are to be believed, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 will be powered by the latest deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 chipset. An image showing the lists of devices utilizing the Helio X20 has surfaced and surprisingly, the Redmi 4 was also spotted on this list.
Except for the MediaTek Helio X20 chipset, nothing else is yet known about the Xiaomi Redmi 4. We expect an all-metal body, fingerprint sensor and probably keeping with the traditions, a 5-inch display for the Redmi 4. But nothing yet is confirmed.
