The Xiaomi Note 2 is quite a hot topic in the smartphone market right now. Xiaomi has already scheduled an event on October 25, where it is expected to reveal the Mi Note 2. However, certain presentation slides from the upcoming event [allegedly] have been leaked on Weibo. The new slides revealing almost all specifications of the Mi Note 2, including pricing details.

PhoneArena was the first to spot the new leak, which lays out all the cards on the table. As per the presentation slides, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will sport a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Force Touch technology and resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The pressure sensitive display technology will provide additional interface options to users. The upcoming smartphone will be powered by a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530GPU. It will come in two variants – 4GB of RAM / 64GB internal storage, and 6GB of RAM / 128GB internal storage. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8 on top.

The new leak confirms that the Mi Note 2 will sports a dual camera setup, with a 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 sensor and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX378 sensor. Camera features will include a dual-tone LED Flash, OIS, and 4K video recording. There will also be an 8-megapixel front camera on-board. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE , Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz) MU-MIMO, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) smartphone will be backed by a huge 4100mAh battery with Quick Charge fast charging technology.

The Mi Note 2 will also support Mi Pay via NFC. It will come with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner integrated under the display. Additionally, the upcoming smartphone will have an iris scanner at the front.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 4GB RAM variant will be priced at CNY 2,799 (approx. Rs. 27,800) while the 6GB RAM variant will cost CNY 2,999 (approx. Rs. 29,800).

Previous rumors also claimed that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is going to be the company’s most expensive smartphone to date.  Multiple contrasting rumors about the upcoming smartphone have been flooding the market for a while. A recent leak had shown a Jet Black Mi Note 2 with a single camera setup and sporting a dual edge screen. Another leak suggested that the Mi Note 2 will sport a completely bezel-less display.
