Xiaomi is the undisputed king of the Chinese smartphone market. But the Chinese giant doesn’t seem to limit its operation to smartphones only. It has forayed into various other segments be it the Mi Drone, Mi Box or Mi Cube. In the latest addition to the family, Xiaomi has unveiled its latest wearable fitness tracker device Mi Band 2.  The device will be Xiaomi’s answer to FitBit and Blaze to claim the dominance of wearable gadgets’ market.

The Mi Band 2 is the third generation of Xiaomi wearable devices and it is the successor to the previous year’s Mi Band Pulse. The Mi Band 2 is the first Xiaomi device to sport an OLED display and a host of other new features. The device sports a 0.42-inch OLED display with a special glass coating to reduce smudges and fingerprints.

The device has a single button at the bottom of the screen which helps in navigating between different displays. The Mi Band 2 can even unlock and Xiaomi phone and you can look at the notifications too. It uses Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.

The Mi Band 2 will go on sale in China from 7th June at an amazing price tag of $23. It will be available in green, blue, orange, and black colour options. The availability in other regions is still unknown, but at a price of just $23, the Mi Band 2 sure sounds a sweet deal.
