Xiaomi Mi 4c users have something to cheer about! The phone running the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat version has been spotted on the Geekbench website. It looks like Xiaomi Mi 4c users don’t have to wait for more than a month or two to get a taste of Android Nougat 7.1.1 update. Xiaomi has already started testing the update, which indicates the company will soon roll out the latest Android Nougat 7.1.1 update.

The company had rolled out Android Nougat update to Mi 5 smartphone in December. At the same time, Xiaomi also announced that more phones will be getting the update soon. The Mi 4c, Mi 4s, Mi Note and Mi Max were part of the list. And now, as promised, the company is working on rolling out the latest Android 7.1.1 to Xiaomi Mi 4c.

Just to recall, the Xiaomi Mi 4c sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Chipset with hexa-core CPU and Adreno 418 GPU. Available in 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variants, the Xiaomi Mi 4c sports 5.0-inch 1920×1080 full HD IPS LCD capacitive display supporting 16M colors and runs on MIUI 7.0 based on Android v5.1.1 Lollipop. The phone comes with a 13MP primary camera and 5MP front camera and is fueled by non-removable Li-ion 3080mAh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS and Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. The Xiaomi 4c comes with standard sensors – accelerometer, gryo, proximity and compass. The phone was announced in September 2015 and made available the same month.
