Xiaomi 10000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro has been launched in India. The new Power Bank comes with two-way fast charging and micro USB-Type C port. It is priced at Rs 1,999 in the Indian market. It will go on sale in India starting from 17th October, as part of Xiaomi’s Diwali sale along with the Xiaomi Mi Max Prime.
The Xiaomi 10000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro was launched in China earlier this year, at a price of CNY 149 (approx. Rs.1,500). The new Power bank sports a full Aluminum alloy body and comes with nine layers of circuit protection. The new brick design of the design measures 128.5 x 75 x 12.6mm and weighs 223 grams. It is 42 percent slimmer than its predecessors and can be fully charged from 0 to 100 percent in about 1 hour and 50 minutes. It comes with a power button and four LED lights for battery level indication.
The 10000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro comes with USB Type-C support and supports fast charging (5V/2A 9V/2A 12V/1.5A). The standard USB port also supports fast charging to charge devices. It has a micro-USB connector on one end and the USB Type-A connector on the other. The power bank can generate output from a Type-A connector and can be charged with a Type-C connector. Other features include protection from short circuit, output over-current, temperature, input overload and reset protection.
The Mi Power Bank Pro can be used with a variety of devices such as smartphones, Bluetooth headsets, and speakers, fitness bands, etc. The company claims that it can charge the iPhone 6 around four times, Mi Note for 2.5 times and the iPad Mini for 1.5 times.
“10,000 Mi Power Bank Pro does support USB Type-C charging and you may charge up your Mi 5 and MacBook.” – Xiaomi said in a statement.
