The latest release is aimed at the beta testers of the WhatsApp Messenger in the Google Play Store. As for the changes are concerned, there aren’t new features made available the 2.17.150 update. It’s all about bug fixes and performance improvements. Like most beta release, this one too doesn’t carry any changelog, hence, we have posted the one from the last stable release below:

Following is how you can enroll in the beta program of WhatsApp Messenger in the Google Play Store and get the latest variant first.

  • First up, visit the WhatsApp Messenger tester program page HERE
  • Thereafter, click or tap on the “BECOME A TESTER” button.
  • Once done, you will be taken to the acknowledgment page, and will soon start receiving the latest beta variant updates
  • To leave the testing program for any reason, just visit the same page again and click or tap “LEAVE THE TEST”.

Before proceeding further, it’s important to note that beta variants aren’t the most stable.

WhatsApp 2.17.150 beta is 33.4 MB in size and comes with build number 451762. You can either wait for the official update or visit the APKMirror.com source link given below to download the latest APK. The latest release is applicable to all smartphones with Android 4.0 and above.
