WhatsApp developers have already announced that the app will not be supported on older OSs by the end of 2016, including Nokia S40, Symbian S60, Windows Phone 7.1, Android 2.2, and BlackBerry. The developers have just released the latest WhatsApp 2.12.382 for Nokia Symbian S60 devices.
The new update brings general improvements and bug fixes. However, you’ll be disappointed to know that the 500 new emojis that were added in the previous Beta version haven’t been activated in this update. That’s it; there are no more new changes in the update. The WhatsApp 2.12.382 .sis (installation) file has been reduced in size by 14KB and only 8 files related to executable app and libraries have been modified.
