Brand new Watch Dogs 2 gameplay was revealed recently. As the game’s hero, Marcus Holloway, you’re equipped with a set of tools the previous game’s protagonist, Aiden Pierce, can only dream of. Tools like a flying drone, parkour skills and a personality. Aiden Pierce was quite boring but the new protagonist is the kind of character that fits the hacker/ punk vibe of the game.
Watch Dogs 2 Gameplay – Start a house party
One thing you’ll get used to, as part of Watch Dogs 2 gameplay, is the appearance of patrolling robots in the game. They look like R2D2 but are more dangerous than in Star Wars Battlefront Death Star DLC. However, if you hack these robots you can not only shut them down but make them blare loud music. That means they can be reprogrammed to start a house party with some unnecessary saucy talk.
Did somebody say Taco trucks?
Donald Trump’s Hispanic supporters recently warned America that if Trump doesn’t get in power there will be Taco trucks at every corner. And Watch Dogs 2 makes it look like a legitimate concern. One of the notable abilities in Watch Dogs 2 gameplay is hacking vehicles. So, death by Taco truck is definitely possible. And believe us when we say there are going to be a lot of Taco trucks in the game.
Time to clean windows
To the untrained eye, the window cleaning platform in Watch Dogs 2 doesn’t pop up as anything dangerous. But to elite hackers like Holloway, it’s an opportunity. You can use it to get to the top of buildings and secure them from the roof. Just settle on the roof and deploy a drone. Then watch your enemies look surprised as you bring death from above.
Be a professional stunt man
It seems like the glory days of the large-scale stunt shows are finally gone. However, Watch Dogs 2 gameplay revives some of that stunt spirit with vehicle transports. Hack a vehicle carrying a platform or deployable ladder. Then use it to improvise or set up a complex defensive perimeter to protect you from enemy fire. You can become a stunt man on the go. Just stop a platform-laden truck in the middle of the road. Raise its platform slightly to make an incline. Then grab a bike and drive over the makeshift ramp at full speed.
Vigilante justice is now much better than it was in the original game
So, you remember how you could track down criminal activity and put a stop to it? Well, it just got better. One of the perks of everything being connected on a single server is that you know when and where anything bad maybe happening. And now you can deal with it in even better ways. Marcus can hack people’s mobile and discover what they’ve been up to or what they intend to do. You can then do some illegal activity through their mobile device and have them arrested. It’s actually way more fun when you get to do it yourself.
Be an Uber driver
Finally, your dream job. Well, not really but its still fun in the game. Just break into a car and then pose as an Uber driver. Fire up the taxi app and go around picking random civilians and dropping them off to their destinations. It could be as chaotic as you want it to be but very simple as well. Up to you really. Why save the city from corrupt corporations when you can be building up your Uber star rating. Seriously, Ubisoft needs to get their priorities straight.
