Walton, the electronics giant of Bangladesh, has unveiled a new smartphone in its homeland, dubbed Walton Primo VX. Though the pricing and availability details are not known, the phone seems to be a mid-ranger by its specs.
Powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 chipset with an octa-core 1.5GHz CPU and Adreno 405 GPU, the Walton Primo VX features a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixel) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 2 gig of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage (with expandable support up to 32GB), and a 2300 mAh Li-Po battery.
The camera section offers a 13-megapixel AF BSI snapper on back along with a 5-megapixel front shooter for video chat / selfies. As far as connectivity is concerned, the Walton Primo VX supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS, Hotspot, and FM Radio.
Weighing 120g, the phone measures 139.5 x 69.5 x 7.3 mm. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and will be available in Black and White color options.
A few days ago, we reported about the listing of Walton Primo V2, which is still not released in the markets. It features almost similar specs as Primo VX, but with a larger battery of 3000 mAh.
