Vivo introduced it’s new flagship phones, the Vivo X6 and Vivo X6 Plus, yesterday as promised. The premium smartphones come loaded with features like Super AMOLED displays, 4GB RAM, fingerprint scanners, and what not. However, Vivo also silently listed a budget smartphone called the Vivo Y51 on its official website.

The Vivo Y51 sports a 5.0-inch screen with an outdated 960 x 540 resolution. Under the hood is a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 chipset bundled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage expandable up to 128GB. The 8MP/5MP camera combo is nothing special to discuss about. The phone gets dual-SIM support, Infrared, LTE, and other common connectivity options. A 2,350mAh battery keeps the phone going. The Vivo Y51 gets Android 5.0.2 Lollipop pre-installed.

We had also expected Vivo to unveil the Y51L model alongside the Y51, as both the phones had passed TENAA together. However, we expect the Y51L to be silently listed soon along with some more variants of the Vivo X6 Plus.
