Finally, the much-anticipated Vivo X9 and Vivo X9 Plus devices will be officially announced on November 16. The new smartphones will be launched at an event in Beijing. The Chinese company revealed the launch date via its official Weibo account. Several new teasers for the X9 smartphones were also leaked online.
Vivo has been teasing the upcoming smartphones for a while now. The Vivo X9 and X9 Plus are expected to come with a dual camera setup on the front. Recent teasers by the company have hinted that one of the dual cameras will have a 20MP Sony IMX376 sensor, while the other will be an 8MP one.
According to recent leaks, the upcoming smartphones will sport a metal build, similar to the Vivo X7. However, the antenna bands on new handsets will have a U-shaped design. The display screen comes with extra narrow 1.59mm bezels on the sides. The display will be protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. While Vivo X9 has a single rear camera, the Vivo X9 Plus will feature dual rear and dual front cameras.
The Vivo X9 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 653 Processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The Vivo X9 Plus might come with 6GB of RAM. Users will have to wait till November 16 to get their hands on the new Vivo X9 and X9 Plus smartphones.
The Vivo X7 sports a 5.2-inch display with full HD [1080p] resolution. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 652 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The Android Lollipop 5.1 based smartphone runs Funtouch OS on top. It sports a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 16MP front camera.
