It has been a couple of months since the Chinese smartphone company Vivo launched its latest smartphones, the Vivo X6 and Vivo X6Plus. The phones carry great specs, but it looks like Vivo isn’t satisfied yet and is working on another variant of the X6.
A new phone called Vivo X6SPlus has been certified by China’s TENAA agency. But don’t expect great changes in the X6SPlus as compared to the X6/X6Plus. There are just two differences in the variants as suggested by the TENAA listing. The newer X6SPlus gets a 1.8 GHz octa-core CPU, while the X6Plus comes with a 1.7GHz octa-core CPU. The X6Plus came wit ha 13MP rear camera, while the X6SPlus gets a better 16MP rear shooter.
Rest of the specs in the Vivo X6SPlus seem to be the same as its predecessor. So the X6SPlus features a 5.7-inch 1080p AMOLED screen, 8MP front camera, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The X6SPlus is similar to the X6Plus in terms of design too, but there is a slight change in the dimensions. The new phone measures 158.16 x 79.94 x 7.7 mm and weighs 190g, which makes it narrower and shorter but heavier and thicker than the X6 Plus. So it is possible that the new variant might carry a bigger battery as opposed tothe 3,000mAh juicer of theX6 Plus.
Price or availability details are unknown yet, but we’ll let you know whenever the phone comes out.
