Viber for Windows 10 Mobile was released few days back, and today the app has been made available for Windows 10 PCs and tablets too. Now, anyone running Windows 10 on a PC or a tablet can download the app from Windows Store, albeit in beta form.

Just like the mobile variant, it is available for anyone to download but will be non-functional if downloaded on a non-beta enabled account. The company had announced a universal app a year ago so it’s kind of disappointing that a beta version has been launched. Still, it’s good for Windows users who rely on Viber and may prefer the security offered by UWP store apps.

Following are the features for Viber App on PCs:

Text with your friends and make free calls with HD sound quality

Send stickers, emoticons, photos and locations

Download stickers from the Sticker Market, making messaging fun!

Hold & Talk – instant voice messages. Your friend will hear you as you speak!

Live Tiles, lock screen notifications, and the ability to pin chats to the home screen

Select chat backgrounds from the background gallery

Full sync between your mobile phone and computer

Video chats

End to End encryption

And below are a few screenshots of the app in action.

The beta variant for Viber is not delivered as an update so you will need to follow the link given below to download the app. It shares the same previous mobile app listing.
