Vibe Shot which is going to be on sale in China from May 22 will definitely change the perception of Chinese giant Lenovo as a camera focused smartphone maker. As the name suggest, Vibe Shot is all about camera phone featuring AF assist and infrared for quick focus. With 16MP OIS Sony sensor it will provide stable shot and will be a boon for low-light shots.
Lenovo Vibe Shot is claimed to have 0.157 seconds of focus time, which is fastest focus time in any smartphones till now in the market. Another first in class feature to adorn the Vibe Shot is 3 tone flash which helps in taking natural looking images at night. There is a physical shutter button to help focus and take the shots, along-with Pro mode physical switch to twist any possible combination for any camera on the smartphone.
It will come in three colors i.e white, black and red with a metal frame and metal buttons with Gorilla Glass 2 double-sided protection. Lenovo is first to produce red aluminium frame on smartphone as claimed by them. Vibe Shot has a 5 inch 1080p display and is powered by a Snapdragon 615 64-bit chip along with 3GB of RAM.
With native onboard storage of 32GB, it provides an option to expand it to 128GB via microSD card. Vibe Shot supports 4G connectivity and provide dual SIM card slot. Running on Android 5.0 Lolipop out of the box, it comes with VIBE UI 2.5 and houses a 3000mAh battery.
Lenovo Vibe Shot will be available in China from May 22 at price tag of just 1799Yuan. It is not clear yet by when the Vibe Shot will be available in the international market.
