LG recently put a whole new kind of smartphone on the market, called LG V10. Despite the fact that it does have some things in common with the LG G4 released earlier this year, the company made sure to suit up the new smartphone appropriately, so it would stand out from the pack, and not just from the former flagship but from the whole line of smartphones released recently. For example, it comes with a second display above the main one that is always turned on providing useful info on the phone’s stats and shortcuts for frequently used apps when the main screen is working, among other perks. But that’s not all, it carries another unique perk on the front, integrating two 5-megapixel cameras, one of them with a 80-degree lens for solo portraits and the other with a 120-degree lens for the ultimate “crowded” selfies.
The phone’s design was created to appeal to the pickiest fashion fans, whilst the components used in its creation are meant to make it long-lasting. It also comes with two layers of Gorilla Glass 4 in order to protect its screens, and its frame is made from stainless steel. The display is a 5.7-inches featuring QHD resolution. Its 16-megapixel camera on the back comes with OIS, laser autofocus and Manual modes controlling the settings in videos and pictures. The phone is equipped with a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor and a RAM of 4GB. It features 64GB of internal storage space, expendable with Micro SD cards, and a 3,000 mAh removable battery, which makes it one of the few phones that still run these two perks.
According to AndroidHeadlines, T-Mobile and AT&T are already ahead selling the LG V10 and now Verizon also made it available for its customers, with a full retail price of $672 and with one of the plans they offer, starting at $28/month. The color options are pretty limited: Space Black and Luxe White. The phone is being marketed with support for Verizon’s XLTE network and it should work in more than 200 countries. And by the way, those who manage to buy the phone before November 15, will also get with it a 200GB Micro SD, a battery to spare and a charging cradle.
