The Nokia brand is back, and there’s no denying it. Backed by HMD Global, the old frontrunner will be launching as many as five Android-powered smartphones in the year 2017. In fact, the first of the five smartphones, Nokia 6 is already a huge success in China. So, there’s nothing stopping Nokia this time.

Even though the company hasn’t revealed any details as of now, it is all but certain that HMD global has an extensive portfolio in the running with smartphones ranging from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 30,000. Let’s dig into details and find out what can we expect from Nokia by HMD Global.

Upcoming Nokia Android Smartphones – 2017

1. Nokia 6

The smartphone has been released in China but hasn’t made it to the Indian shores. It packs decent specifications in a metallic shell. Nokia 6 features 5.5-Inch Full HD display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset and 4 Gigs of RAM. Internal storage stands at 64 GB with expandable capabilities of up to 256 Gigabyte. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat with Nokia own skin on top. It is priced at 1699 Yuan (around $246 / Rs 16,739).

2. Nokia DC 1

This will be a budget-priced smartphone under 10000. It will have presumably the similar specs as the Nokia 6, like Snapdragon 430 chipset, 13 MP rear, and 8 MP front shooters. Rest information is yet to sought.

3. Nokia E1

The next offering will be Nokia E1 with either 5 or 5.5-inch display of HD quality. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset and 2 Gigs of RAM. There will be a 13 MP rear and 5 MP front shooter. It will be priced at around Rs. 12,000.

Expected at MWC 2017

4. Nokia 8

Many rumors are pointing to an MWC 2017 launch for Nokia 8. It will be more of a Flagship offering from the company with Snapdragon 835 chip inside. Massive 6 Gigs of RAM will be powering the system alongside 128 Gigs of storage. There will be another variant too with 4 GB RAM and 64 Gigs storage. The camera department too might feature a Carl Zeiss lens with other impressive points. It will be priced at Rs. 30,000 or above.

5. Nokia P1

Not much has leaked about the Nokia P1 smartphone. All the information doing rounds over the internet suggest a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, and 23MP main camera. As for the pricing, it might be priced around or under 15,000.
