UMi Digi has just announced their latest smartphone UMi Touch and the specs and features of the phone look very promising. The phone will come with Android 6.0 out of the box, which means no unnecessary waiting for the Android M update.
Official UMi website also confirms a 13 MP Sony IMX328 rear sensor, however, little is known about this sensor as it has not yet been seen elsewhere. Both the 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras come with a flashlight. The phone also boasts of MediaTek MT6753 chipset with a 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with a 3 GB of RAM and ARM Mali-T720 GPU, so it is expected that there shouldn’t be any lag when it comes to the performance of this smartphone.
The exterior curve of the phone is inspired from that of iPhone 6S. The edge of the screen features a 45o diamond cut as already seen on OnePlus X. Another stunning feature of this phone is a full metallic body which enhances its signal strength. It sports a 5.5-inch FHD display with a pixel density of 400ppi, which means a vivid and bright experience with an impressive rendering of colour. All this would be powered by a 4000mAh battery which should be decent enough for a day’s use.
The phone will be available for pre-orders from 18th Feb. The official site has listed it at a price of $179.99. They are also offering a $70 discount coupon to customers who are UMi partners.
With such impressive specs, UMi Touch will surely prove to be a strong competitor to Redmi Note 3 and recently launched LeEco Le 1S smartphone.
