For the past few months we’ve been speculating what The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild would be like on the Nintendo Switch. Now that we have greater knowledge of the system, it’s time to take a more definitive look at what the Switch will offer inside The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild.
The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild will look completely different on the Switch
We still don’t know a lot about the Switch such as battery life and storage. But we know enough to give more solid assumptions than just hearsay about The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild on this new console. Unsurprisingly, this was the first game to be shown in the Switch trailer even before the actual console was shown.
The first question that comes to everyone’s mind is how much better does it look? It’s hard to say at the moment because we only got to see about 10 seconds of gameplay footage in the Switch trailer. However, the detail that popped out the most was the deeper saturated colors. But don’t hold your breath because it could be a result of video editing. There’s still nothing solid about the graphics quality of the game on the Nintendo Switch but it’s pretty much confirmed the game will be upscaled with further draw distance.
What matters most is how the game performs on the new system and that’s where there could be issues. A lot of people who got hands-on with the new game reported terrible framerate drops on the Wii U and 3DS. So, will the Nintendo Switch fix that? That remains to be seen but we sure hope the game can deliver constant framerate across all Nintendo platforms.
