The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition PlayStation 4 shows all the cities with enhanced graphics. And we must admit, they look beautiful. Despite previous complaints of the remaster not matching up to the graphical enhancement mods to the previous game, we still think Bethesda did a really good job with the game. And The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition PlayStation 4 footage revealed just that.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition PlayStation 4 footage shows some pretty amazing graphics

The footage has been recorded on the PS4 copy of the game. However, keep in mind that the PC version will look way better. Still, the console graphics are pretty impressive. And it’s a great leap forward from the raw vanilla version. We’re very happy how the visuals have turned out.

The game is now much more vibrant. The colors are enhanced with strong saturation. Furthermore, it still remains true to the lore-friendly vanilla version aesthetic of the original game. It’s a sensational balance. There were a lot of mods for Skyrim that tended to enhance the game with over-the-top colors. And they made the land look like some unrealistic fantasy heaven. They’re definitely very cool to look at but the new game keeps things true to the core while not enhancing the graphics too much.

Besides the enhanced color, it’s obviously much sharper. The dynamic depth of field has been done really well. It focuses intensely on what you’re looking at and blurs other stuff in the background. Again, this is something which feels like it was executed perfectly and not overcooked to the point of annoyance. It really makes things stand out.
