The movie will be released on February 18, 2017, in Japan, and will be released on March 1, 2017, in the US. Ordinal Scale will be played in more than 1000 theaters worldwide. The story of the movie is written by the creator of Sword Art Online, Reki Kawahara. The story will revolve around a new device called Augma, and how Kirito and the others will use it. The creator of the movie currently claims that movie will leave fans speechless as it will be filled with exciting new surprises.
