A new 3G tablet has been launched by Swipe Technologies and is named as the Ace. Previously, the company had launched an excellent VFM smartphone called Swipe Elite.

The Swipe Ace tablet has been very competitively priced at Rs. 7,299. The manufacturer has stated that the new Swipe Ace tablet will be up for sale on the popular online e-commerce websites like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, etc.

The major selling point of the Swipe Ace tablet is that it is 3G enabled. Also it supports voice calling and dual SIM functionality (one is a Micro-SIM slot and another is a regular SIM slot).

The Swipe Ace tablet sports a 6.95-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. The tablet is fueled by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and multitasking is pretty easy with the 1GB RAM. The tablet runs oon Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and boasts of a 16GB inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

For photography purposes, the Swipe Ace tablet comes with a nice 5 MP rear camera with an LED flash. There is also a decent 2 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The tablet has regular connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support along with Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB port. The battery inside the tablet measures 2800mAh and it is expected to deliver a standy time of 96 hours and a talk time of 10 hours.

The manufacturer has stressed that the Swipe Ace tablet is designed for easy one-handed operation, which is a good thing when it comes to using tablets comfortably.
