The new tablet is expected to be powered by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) or Nvidia Pascal GPU along with 16GB of RAM.
The Surface Pro 5 is likely to run on Windows 10 with Redstone 2 Update. The October release date coincides with the Windows 10 Redstone 2 update’s arrival. As per new reports, the 2-in-1 tablet might be powered by 7th-gen Intel processor, Kaby Lake. The new processor uses a more optimized architecture and comes with the turbo boost and over boost functions.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to feature a 16-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera. The Surface Pro 5 is also expected to feature a USB-C. The Surface Pen is likely to come with several improvements. It is expected to cost upwards of $899 for the base model, while the Core i7 version will be available for the price of $999. The 4K UHD variant will likely cost $1,599.
Microsoft Surface Book 2
The Microsoft Surface Book 2 is also rumored to be powered by a Kaby Lake processor. It will also likely run the new Windows 10 Redstone 2 update along with features such as OneClip and Office Hub. The new device will also sport a 4K display and a USB 3.1 support.
