The plumber is going portable as Apple has announced that Nintendo will be launching a Mario game for iOS devices. Initially, there was a lot of outrage from Android device owners for no confirmation of an android release date. But the company cleared everything up by saying the game will also come to Android devices next year. Super Mario Run Android release date could be set to the first half of 2017.

The game is an endless runner in which Mario sprints from left to right. Players will have to tap the screen to make him jump over enemies and obstacles. As the game progresses, there will be power-ups that will change the way the game mechanics work. The ultimate goal is to get to the flagpole as quickly as possible.
“For the first time players will be able to enjoy a full-fledged Super Mario game with just one hand, giving them the freedom to play while the subway or, my favorite, eating a hamburger.” Miyamoto said.
Miyamoto recently uploaded a video of himself playing the game with one hand while doing all manners of stuff with the other. This ranges from lifting weights to eating hamburgers to even just greeting people with a handshake.
With the news of Super Mario Run Android release date made lately, we won’t be surprised if the game also arrives on Nintendo’s upcoming console the Nintendo NX and previous consoles like the DS and Wii U. For now, the Super Mario Run Android Release Date is predicted to be in the first half of 2018 based on rumors. Nintendo hasn’t confirmed these rumors so we’ll have to wait and see.
