Star Wars Battlefront Death Star DLC Weapons Guide – TL-50 Heavy Repeater

In order to unlock this, you need to get 20 kills as an empire soldier. Then, you need 75 heavy blaster kills. We recommend using the DLT-19 for getting the heavy blaster kill. However, you can use any you feel comfortable with. You can combine the DLT-19 with an explosive star card.

This repeater is one with the highest fire rate in the game. However, both the new blasters have a secondary fire which is a charged blast. On the repeater, if you hit the secondary fire button, you will charge up a concussion blast and when you release the button, it can blind enemies (and even you if you are in its range).

Keep in mind, when charging up the secondary shot you can only walk and releasing the concussion blast will overheat your weapon. However, this is really good for spamming into corridors before entering them. Kind of like tossing flashbangs in Counter Strike and other FPS multiplayer games to blind any possible enemies in a new area so that you can enter that area without the fear of getting shot.

K-16 Bryer Pistol

You need 10 Blaster pistol kills, 3 Blaster pistol streaks, and 25 Han Solo kills. The K-16 Bryer Pistol is a semi-automatic pistol with a secondary fire ability. This weapon is better for long or medium range maps. The secondary is a charged shot that can even get a lock on. It fires a beam after getting fully charged and released the one-shot enemies. The splash damage isn’t much but, if you time your shot correctly, you can easily get double kills.

However, keep in mind that if you fail to hit an enemy after a charged shot, your weapon will overheat, leaving you vulnerable.

Medical Droid

Now we get to the gadgets. To unlock it you need to heal 10 team members and get Trait Level 3 with survivalist. The upgraded version requires you to heal 20 team members and a 100 objective score in Battle Station.

Simply equip the droid and deploy it wherever you plan to camp or hunker down. This is particularly useful when you exchange fire with the other side and then move back into cover to get healed by the Droid. However, keep in mind this dies really fast so keep it well hidden and out of enemy line of sight.

Don’t use the Droid for a panic heal because it takes a few seconds to start up once deployed.

Laser Trip Mine

It requires 10 explosive kills and 20 kills while playing with the Scout trait. The best way to use it is to put it on walls right outside doors. Those who have played the Duke Nukem games will be more familiar with the strategic use of this. Even those who played the original Half-Life can do this really well.

This gadget also scrambles enemy radar when nearby. So, if you notice that your radar doesn’t show anything, there is either a scout nearby or a laser trip mine.
