The data pricing battle continues in the US with Sprint announcing a new deal for a limited time only. Also, the new offer is applicable to new customers only. In case, your area enjoys good network coverage from Sprint, following graphic shows the limited time promotional deal.
Just like any other carrier in the US, the price-per-line decreases as you add more to your account. The $5 auto-pay credit is included in the tariffs mentioned above. In case, you aren’t able to read the fine print below the tariff cards, we have posted the same below for better understanding:
“Sprint Unlimited Freedom: Savings until 6/30/18, then $60/mo. for line 1, $40/mo. for line 2, $30/mo. for lines 3-4. Includes unlimited talk, text, and data. Data deprioritization during congestion after 23GB/mo. Pricing shown with $5/mo./line AutoPay discount applied within 2 invoices. Reqs. eBill and new account activation. Other monthly charges apply. Sprint, Verizon, AT&T pricing excludes taxes and fees.”
The promo offer will last until June 30, 2018, and does offer a great deal against the competitors. The $120 plan for four lines seems pretty decent. When the deal ends, customers will be charged $180/month for four lines, similar to T-Mobile’s ONE plan, excluding the Sprint taxes and fees.
The new unlimited offering starts today, April 7, for new customers only. Once again Sprint has gone with the strategy to acquire new user base rather making the current one happier. It will be interesting to see if this makes any reverse impact for the carrier.
