Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 will be rolled out to Samsung phones soon, but a new leaked video also tells us that the update will bring a new versatile app model on the Galaxy S6 Edge for advanced edge functionality.
The new video looks genuine on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge running Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. The Edge devices from the company might be getting a new major feature in their curved panels. The new apps are divided in two sections- one is the Edge feeds to receive info at a glance, while the other one is the Edge panels for more functionality.
The video shows quite a few new apps running on the curved edge. The apps include My Apps (recently used apps), Quick Tools, S Planner, Twitter, Sports, etc. There is also a link to the Galaxy Store, which suggests that more apps and functions can be added to the curve.
In case you own a Galaxy S6 Edge, then you might get the Android 6.0.1 update soon. It is rumored that the update will be rolled out in January 2016. But it isn’t an official confirmation, so we need to wait for some more time until Samsung decides to unveil the new functionality.
