Samsung has announced a couple of new versions of the Samsung Gear S2 Classic at its CES event today. The watch was launched in September 2015. which was initially made official back in September of last year.
The two new versions of the Gear S2 Classic come in two different color schemes. One is plated with 18K Rose Gold and the other one gets a Platinum plating. These are going to be the most exclusive versions of the smartwatch, and therefore we expect these two new pieces two cost considerably more than the regular variant of the Gear S2 Classic.
The Platinum and Rose Gold Gear S2 Classic will go on sale in February, and rest of the features remain unchanged. The Platinum version of the watch gets a genuine black leather band, while the Rose Gold variant will flaunt a genuine Ivory genuine leather band.
These new variables will get a few new watch faces, some being Peanuts characters, while others being artworks from Burton Morris, Keith Haring, Jeremyville, and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Samsung has also partnered with some exclusive designers like Colombo to bring some premium watch straps for the Samsung Gear S2 Classic.
