It’s hardly been a few weeks since the release of the Galaxy Note7 and the tech world has started talking about the next Samsung flagship, Samsung Galaxy S8. The smartphone market is already abuzz with the various rumours surrounding the Galaxy S8 although there is still months left in its official launch.
Latest leak has just surfaced from China and it seems pretty interesting. The leakers are claiming that Samsung will finally depart from its conventional flagship camera setup. The report says that the next Samsung flagship, i.e., the Samsung Galaxy S8 will sport a dual rear camera setup. The rear camera setup will consist of a 13MP lens and an another 12MP lens. The model number for the Galaxy S8 camera is S5K2L2 in all probability.
The report doesn’t just end up here. It further claims that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will finally see an upgrade in its front-camera department. The front camera will see an upgrade to 8MP. This increase in front camera resolution seems to come after ages. Also, there will reportedly be another camera module above the display as the Galaxy S8 will have the coveted Iris scanner as well.
Well, the veracities of these reports are very much questionable and we would advise our readers to apply their discretion. The coming days will surely be filled up with many such rumours and leaks. We’ll keep you updated with all of them. Till then, stay tuned.
