We showed you some leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and S7 Edge Plus yesterday, in which we also told you about the dimensions of the phones and their screen sizes. Well, it looks like their was an error in the report, which is why ITSKINS (the original source) was asked to measure the screens of the Galaxy S7 variants in order to provide correct details.
In the new report by GSMArena, it has been suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S7 variants will be simplified instead of being complicated with different sizes and types (curved/flat) screens. The correct size of the base variant of the Galaxy S7 will carry a flat 5.1-inch flat display. The Galaxy S7 Edge will be sporting a bit larger 5.5-inch curved display. The largest of the lot, the Galaxy S7+, will flaunt a 6-inch display with a flat/curved screen option.
So we now know that the Galaxy S7 will come in small, medium, and large sizes, with the medium and large versions getting curved displays. That is unless Samsung decides another variant. It is possible that this new lineup might be liked better than the S6 lineup. What’s your take on this?
