We have got our hands full with rumors on the Samsung Galaxy S7, but the leaks seem to never stop pouring in. It would be wise to say that none of the previous speculations have been solid enough to be accepted as true, but a new leak today changes that very well.
Some new renders of the Galaxy S7 have been leaked out by ITSkins, a third-party accessories company. Before you go ahead and call these renders fake, make sure to remember that such accessories makers do get direct access to layouts, dimensions, and proportions in details in order to prepare the perfect accessories for upcoming smartphones.
Samsung will apparently be releasing two variants of the Galaxy S7. One of them, probably the S7, will be measuring 143.37 x 70.8 x 6.94 mm and will be identical to the dimensions of the Galaxy S6. However, the second S7 variant will measure a huge 163.32 x 82.01 x 7.82mm and will probably be the 6.-inch Galaxy S7 Plus. There’s no word yet about the possibility of a Galaxy S7 Edge, but let’s leave that for later.
One look at the renders and the S7 reminds us of the S6. But you can still notice some instant changes, like the rectangular home button instead of a round one. Then there’s the SIM slot that has been placed to the side.
The Galaxy S7 will be carrying Snapdragon 820 in US and China and Exynos 8890 in other markets. The launch date is said to be some time around in February 2016, but nothing is official yet.
