Bad news for Samsung Galaxy S4 mini users as it seems that their mini handset will not be upgraded to Android’s sweet Lollipop. UK based carrier – Three has responded to a user’s question on Twitter that the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini will not be updating to the Android 5 Lollipop.

Stating the reason, the carrier said – there is memory restrictions on the S4 mini. On questioning further, the UK carrier also said that they have received an official confirmation from the Samsung.

It sports 4.3 inch display and is powered by a dual-core 1.7GHz Krait Snapdragon 400 chipset. It packs a 1.5GB of RAM and 8 GB of on-board storage (5GB user available). Currently, the Galaxy S4 mini is running Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) OS.
