As part of upcoming Galaxy On series, Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy On8 smartphone in the Indian market. Flipkart has already started teasing the upcoming smartphone as #TheNexusON on its website. The tease also claims that it will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
The teaser image doesn’t confirm the name but the ‘Big Billion Days Sale‘ page mentions the Samsung Galaxy On8 as a partner. It is very likely that the Samsung Galaxy On8 will be on sale on or after October 3rd. Flipkart is expected to offer discounts on ‘Mobile and Accessories’ as a part of the sale.
As per the new tease by the Flipkart, the soon to be launched smartphone sports Full HD [1080p] Super AMOLED display. It doesn’t confirm any other features. More details about the upcoming Galaxy On series smartphone should be revealed next week.
As per Phone Radar, the Galaxy On8 is expected to be powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM. It is likely to be supported by 32GB of internal storage [expandable via a Micro SD card slot]. It might sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. The new smartphone is expected to also come with a fingerprint sensor integrated into the physical home button. The Galaxy On8 is expected to be priced in between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 price range.
Earlier this week, Samsung announced its new Galaxy On7 (2016) smartphone in China. The On7 (2016) only features a 5.5-inch 1080p TFT display. Yesterday, the company also teased the Galaxy On5 (2016).
