While the whole tech world is glued to the IFA 2016 event, Samsung quietly unveiled its latest smartphone, the Galaxy J7 Prime in Vietnam. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is the latest addition to the very popular J-series of Samsung. However, the Galaxy J7 Prime has been only released for Vietnam right now and the Korean tech giant is yet to disclose the global availability details of this device.
As for the specs, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime sports a 5.5-inch FHD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The device is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz coupled with an ample 3GB of RAM. The device offers 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be further upgraded via microSD card up to 256GB.
In the camera department, the Galaxy J7 Prime features a 13MP primary rear camera with a f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. There is an 8MP camera with the same aperture on the front for selfies and video chats. Apart from this, the Galaxy J7 Prime runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and offers dual-SIMs with 4G LTE support. The device packs a decent 3,300mAh battery and sports a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button.
