Samsung launched its mid-range smartphone Samsung Galaxy J7 last year and since then this device has broken many sales records throughout the globe record. Galaxy J7 is undoubtedly one of the most popular smartphones right now and you can easily find this smartphone with someone or other in your vicinity. The device has great features but sadly, it comes shipped with the old 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. But it seems that the Korean giant has finally removed even this small lacuna by rolling out the Android Marshmallow update for the Samsung Galaxy J7.

Samsung has started rolling out the Android Marshmallow update over the air (OTA) for Samsung Galaxy J7 in Russia and other regions are to follow very soon. If you’re the impatient one like me, you can just download this 1.04GB update and flash it. However, if you aren’t familiar with the flashing process, I would suggest you wait for a day or two more for the OTA to arrive.

Another Samsung device which is soon to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016). The manual for the device has been already updated which is a clear indication that an OTA update is just around the corner and would be rolled out anytime soon in the near future.

Android Marshmallow will bring a host of new features like Google Now on Tap, customizable app permissions, Doze mode for efficient battery consumption, the latest version of TouchWiz and many other cool new features.

Don’t forget to let us know when you receive the Marshmallow update and stay tuned for more news and updates.
