Samsung launched its two mid-ranged smartphones Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 last month in India. The Korean company has now dropped the price of both the smartphones in the country in few weeks of its launch.

The Samsung Galaxy E7 was priced at INR 23,000 ($370), which now dropped to INR 20,900 ($336), and  Galaxy E5 was priced at INR 19,300 ($310), which is now available for INR 17,900 ($288).

The duos support dual SIM functionality and were priced reasonably compared to company’s previous smartphones. But being reasonable, prices were high comparative to other Chinese smartphones available in market.  Samsung understood the competition and acted accordingly to stand with the Chinese competitors in the market.

No doubt, the Korean giant has taken the right decision for price cut and the move will push up the sales for sure. Also, the price mentioned above is an official quote, the actual purchase price in stores should be some more lower.

Let us know, how do you think about the step taken by the Samsung?
