Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro was made official in India last month, and the same is now available for pre-order from the company’s online store. The shipments for the smartphone will begin on 1st March 2017, as stated on the website.
The smartphone is listed for Rs. 36,990 with EMIs starting at Rs. 1754.29. All those who pre-book the device on the official portal will get one-time screen replacement at just INR 990. Users have two color options: Gold and Black.
For those who don’t know, Galaxy C9 Pro was first launched in China last year and became an instant hit. The device sports a gigantic 6-Inch Full HD Super AMOLED panel on front. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 Chipset and 6 Gigs of RAM. Internal storage of the C9 Pro stands at 64 GB with expandable capabilities of up to 256 Gigabyte.
Camera department of Galaxy C9 Pro comprises of 16 MP rear unit with f/1.9 aperture, autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash, along with 16MP front-snapper. All this is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. As for the connectivity, the device features 4G LTE SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C.

Overall, Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is power packed offering from the Korean manufacturer, and it will be interesting to see how much territory it can occupy in India. At the current selling price, it is very close to Samsung’s own flagship offering Galaxy S7. The camera is the highlighting factory for the C9 Pro. For the first time, Samsung has gone with a 16 MP selfie shooter on a smartphone.
The handset will be released in several Asian countries, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam in the next few months.
