Samsung just recently launched its flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 7. Now credible sources say that the company is planning to release a Galaxy C9. The Galaxy C-line of smartphones launched earlier in the year when the company launched Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7. Both devices feature a metal design and have mid-range specs.
The upcoming Galaxy C9, to be dubbed ‘Amy’ should sport similar specs to the Galaxy C5 if not better. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 powers the C5, which runs on 4GB run and comes with inbuilt storage of 32GB.
The Galaxy C9 may feature a mid-range processor, like the Snapdragon 617 or 625. Like the C5, it should come with a fingerprint sensor. The device could bear similar display size to the Galaxy A9, a device which has been exclusive to China until recently when it launched in Malaysia. The A9 features a 6-inch Super AMOLED Full HD screen.
Android Headlines notes that the C-line of smartphones is exclusive to China, which explains the use of letter C. with that in mind the phablet should not launch in any other country. However, we should not be quick to jump to conclusions yet. Keep visiting us for more information on the Galaxy C9.
