Samsung recently launched three smartphones in the Galaxy A-series, namely the Galaxy A3 (2016), Galaxy A5 (2016), and the Galaxy A7 (2016). However, the most awaited smartphone in the series, the Galaxy A9, was yet to be announced. Postponed from the earlier launch date, the phone finally goes official in the China. While the pricing and availability details are not revealed, we got the final and official specs list.
Equipped with a FullHD 6-inch Super AMOLED screen, the Galaxy A9 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor (formerly known as SD 620). It features a 13-megapixel OIS camera on the back along with an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter.
The phone also gets a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button similar to other Samsung smartphones. Juiced up by a 4,000mAh battery, the Galaxy A9 packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage space. Other features include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, and NFC connectivity.
The Galaxy A9 is built with the same metal and glass material found in other Galaxy A-series smartphones. It will be available in Pink, White, and Gold colour options.
