The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro was first released in China in March, this year. The device was officially released in Malaysia a few weeks ago. Soon after the Malaysian release, its firmware files were made available, pointing towards a conclusion that a global release would soon follow. But according to Sammobile, the company is not planning to release the device outside Asia anytime soon.
The phablet will soon be available in the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand. It is not clear why Samsung has decided not to launch the most powerful Galaxy A device across the globe. The most probable cause is the fact that 6inch devices are not so popular in most parts of the world.
Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro comes with some impressive features. A 6inch Full HD AMOLED screen, 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 652 chipset, 32GB internal storage, 16-megapixel rear camera, 12-megapixel front camera, 5,000 mAh battery and Android M 6.0.1; what more could you ask for from a smartphone that costs $500.
Like all other Galaxy A devices, A9 pro has a gorilla glass rear and a metal frame. Let’s cross our fingers and hope this device becomes available in India soon.
