Samsung Galaxy A series 2017 editions were expected to launch by year-end, but a recently leaked information suggests otherwise. The unofficial source claims that Samsung fans might have to wait another month before confronting the new smartphones.

The Galaxy A3 and A5 2017 editions by Samsung were rumored to be unveiled and released on the market in December. However, Leakster Roland Quandt has revealed that both the smartphones might see the daylight in Mid-January in black, blue, gold and pink color variants in Western Europe.

Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 (2017) Expected Price and More
Roland Quandt also shared information about the pricing of Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5. The leakster expects the MSRP (manufacturer’s suggested retail price) for the Galaxy A3 (2017) to be around €349, while €449 for the Galaxy A5 (2017).
It will be interesting to see if Samsung sticks to such high pricing when rival smartphone makers like OnePlus are offering much more at the same price.
This will be the third installment for Samsung Galaxy A lineup smartphones. The first one did perform very well, but the second generation smartphones had lackluster growth. Above mentioned release date and pricing are for the European markets so worldwide availability might vary.
As far as specifications are concerned, Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) will house a 4.7-Inch HD display powered by an Exynos 7870 processor and 2 Gigs of RAM. Internal storage of Galaxy A3 will stand at 16 GB with expandable capabilities. Camera department of the smartphone is expected to comprise of 12MP rear and 8MP front shooter. There will be a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port onboard with Android Nougat on top.
Coming to Galaxy A5 (2017), the smartphone will share the same design with 5.5-Inch Full HD display. It might feature Exynos 7880 SoC with Mali-T860 GPU. The Rear camera might see a bump to 13 MP.
Even though Roland Quandt has proved to be a reliable leakster before, only time will tell what Samsung has in store for us with Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5(2017).
