Rockstar, after the grand success of Grand Theft Auto V, is all set to return with Red Dead Redemption 2. And there is no better place to play the game than PlayStation. And while Xbox One users are enjoying their journey in the Wild West via Backwards Compatibility, Rockstar has revealed that PS4 players will get first access to earn select online content in the vast open world of Red Dead Redemption 2. Sony also announced that PS3 classic game Red Dead Redemption will be coming on PlayStation Now.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. Get ready for a brand new online multiplayer experience – with the vast and atmospheric world that lays the foundation for a one-of-its-kind multiplayer experience. The PS blog reads – “We are pleased to announce that PS4 players get first access to earn select online content in the vast open world of Red Dead Redemption 2. Check back on PlayStation.Blog for more details soon and for all of the latest information on Red Dead Redemption 2”

“In addition, the PS3 classic Red Dead Redemption will be coming to PlayStation Now soon. Relive the epic story of former outlaw John Marston as he hunts down the gang members he once called friends through the harsh and punishing landscape of America’s dying West”, the post reads. Emphasizing on the top-notch gaming experience being delivered by Rockstar, the blog continues to say – “For the past 20 years, Rockstar has continually redefined the concept of open worlds. From the record-breaking Grand Theft Auto series, the Midnight Club racing games, the schoolyard comedy Bully, to the breakout hit Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar has consistently delivered on a level that few have managed to match.”

Looks like Red Dead Redemption 2 has already set expectations high. Unfortunately, the new Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer that was released on October 20th doesn’t give away much info. Although the trailer doesn’t show any faces clearly, the audio is pretty much clear – “Listen to me, when the times come, you gotta run and don’t look back. This is over.”

For the PlayStation Now Red Dead Redemption, no official date has been announced. However, the release is expected to happen before Red Dead Redemption 2, which is scheduled for Autumn 2017.
