If playing Rocket League often makes you nostalgic for a time when vehicles did not have turbo rockets on them to pass balls around a playing field, then this new bit of DLC will please you. The game has partnered with Euro Truck Simulator 2 to get DLC based on that game, while Euro Truck Simulator 2 gets DLC based on Rocket League.
Players will have access to a Rig Antenna based on Euro Truck Simulator 2 (pictured above), while Euro Truck Simulator 2 players will have access to the “iconic” Rocket League ball, which hangs on the window of your truck and the Octane car, which sits on your truck’s dashboard. The recently introduced Cabin Accessories DLC, which enables physics for cabin toys, has been enabled and will affect these new toys.
Both DLCs will be made available absolutely free. Although no explicit release date has been announced as of yet, it has been confirmed that the DLCs will be made available later this month. Meanwhile, Rocket League is already running a cross-promotion with Goat Simulator. Let us know what you think about this interesting cross-game DLC strategy in the comments below.
