Rise of the Tomb Raider – the action-adventure video game developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix – is the sequel to the 2013 video game Tomb Raider. The game was released for Xbox One, Xbox 360 in November 2015 and for Microsoft Windows in January 2016. A special edition of the game, titled Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration was also released worldwide for PS4 in October this year.

However, fans haven’t been able to enjoy the game to the max. Several issues have been plaguing the game, including the annoying issue of frame pacing. Several users complained about the issue. Now, it looks like the recently released update 1.06 for Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration on PS4 fixes the frame-pacing issues that appeared following the launch of update 1.05 in early November. The update, apart from improving frame rate stability, includes some minor bug fixes. Several users have already begun to notice the difference.

The 20 Year Celebration was announced for PC and PS4 platforms earlier this year in July for release in October, alongside a new DLC mission, Blood Ties and support for cooperative multiplayer in Endurance mode to be released on all platforms except Xbox 360. The 20 Year Celebration is by far the most comprehensive version of the game and includes Lara’s Nightmare zombie combat mode, VR support for Blood Ties, an Extreme-Survivor difficulty, several classic Lara skins and a weapon inspired by TR III.
