Tomb Raider franchise is one of those labels I will buy even if a new version comes out every day. Fans of Rise of the Tomb Raider who have been excited about the proposed release of Rise Of The Tomb Raider PC version can now sleep with both eyes closed because Nvidia has posted the recommended settings to ensure a seamless gameplay experience.
Nvidia made some analysis on how the game behaved on various platforms and came with a chilling revelation.
1) The company stated that gamers can best use the GeForce GTX 970 graphics card for a 60 fps smooth gaming experience in High Settings and FullHD resolution. If you need more enticing visuals from the game, get a GeForce GTX 980Ti for 1440p resolution at 60 fps.
2) The best processor for running this game would be an Intel Core i7 3770K CPU coupled with 6 GB of RAM. The testing rig was made to run on a 64-bit Windows 10 PC.
In line with Nvidia’s tradition, they will release full in-depth guides to performance and settings in the eve of the game’s launch, on Thursday. On that fateful day, premium gaming rig owners will find out whether or not the game packs an Ultra preset, alongside with the technical details.
It is likely that a future update will bring VXAO to PCs just like Flex and HBAO+ came to Fallout 4. The ‘Rise of The Tomb Raider’ will be shipped free to customers who buy a GTX 970, 980 or 980Ti card.
It was an early start for the owners of Xbox One and Xbox 360 as the highly commended title was made available to them in November 2015. Today, The Baba Yaga: The Temple of The Witch DLC will also be made available to the Xbox users. However, the Baba Yaga DLC is available to PC users from the purchase.
Will the free shipping prompt you to buy a GTX 970, 980 or 980Ti card or do you think it is a failed gimmick? Tell us.
