Rick and Morty season 2 ended back in October 2015 and since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for the next season to arrive. In August 2015, Adult Swim did announce that the show will be renewed for a third season, but there is currently no specific release date for it. However, the creators of the show have been revealing stuff about the third season from time to time to keep fans hyped up for it.

Rick And Morty Season 3 New Concept Art

Recently, the co-creator of Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland released a new concept art of the third season. Instead of releasing some clips, the co-creator decided to release a new visual which showcases a moment from the third season of Rick and Morty. The main highlight of the concept art is that it features three Morty’s standing alongside Rick.

Those who have been following the series from the start know that there was an Evil Morty in Rick and Morty season 1. The Evil Morty was a genius villain who managed to create clones of Morty for his personal benefit. In short, fans already saw the concept of parallel dimensions in the previous two seasons. However, at the end of Rick and Morty season 2, Rick was locked up in the Galactic Federation. But it now seems that his days of being a prisoner are over as recent rumors claim that the current situation of Rick and Morty is about to get worse, and the Evil Morty is going to be behind this.

Evil Morty To Become A Big Threat For Rick

If this turns out to be the case, then fans will see the return of Evil Morty in Rick and Morty season 3. It is currently said that the Evil Morty will cause a lot of troubles, and will even become a big threat to Rick’s life. Even the co-creator of the show has hinted the return of Evil Morty by releasing that concept art.
