Titanfall 2 is an upcoming first person shooter title, which is set to release next month. The game is currently being developed by Respawn Entertainment for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Those who are eagerly waiting to get their hands on this upcoming shooter title will be glad to know that the game has finally gone gold.
Titanfall 2 Has Gone Gold
That’s right, Titanfall 2 has officially gone gold. This comes directly from Twitter where the official twitter account of Vince Zampella, the CEO of Respawn Entertainment, posted a tweet claiming that Titanfall 2 has gone gold. He congratulated the Titanfall 2 on going gold.
Congrats to the #Titanfall2 team on going GOLD!

For those who don’t know, when a game goes gold, it means that its development has been successfully completed and the process of replicating discs will now start. When the studio is done with the development of the game, they start working on a day one patch for it.
However, there is currently no official word on whether Titanfall 2 will get a day one patch or not. But judging from the development of games these days, there’s a big chance that Titanfall 2 will get a day one patch.
Titanfall 2 Release Date
Titanfall 2 is set to release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 28, 2016. Unlike the previous installment in its series, the game won’t be a Microsoft exclusive title, meaning that it will be released for the PS4. Also, Titanfall 2 will feature a single player story campaign, which the previous installment didn’t have. Two Open Betas were also held a few weeks ago on the PS4 and Xbox One, which gave players a closer look at the upcoming shooter title.
EA currently believes that because of the increased number of people with current-gen consoles and the fact that the game will be released on multiple platforms, Titanfall 2 will perform way better than its predecessor. This won’t be surprising considering the fact that hype for Titanfall 2 is much higher than the hype was for the previous installment.
At the start of this month, Respawn Entertainment revealed the six new titans Titanfall 2 will feature. Included in those six were Legion, Northstar, Ronin, Scorch, Tone and Ion. Each one of these Titans are equipped with powerful weapons, which can be used to create havoc in the land.
Respawn also revealed the Minimum and Recommended PC System Requirements for Titanfall 2 a few days ago, so players can get their PC’s ready before launch day. For those who want to run the game on 4K, they will need a GTX 1080 8GB paired with an Intel i7-6700k processor. However, a GTX 660 2GB paired with an Intel i3 processor would be enough to run the game on your PC.
