Qualcomm has unwrapped its two new chip sets. The Snapdragon 412 SoC and Snapdragon 212 SoC are the advanced form and replacement of Snapdragon 410 SoC and Snapdragon 210 SoC respectively. It is expected that the both new chips will be soon prevailing in the world, hence will be creating a new trend set in the history of technology. The Snapdragon 412 will be excessively used in moderate handsets while on the other hand; the Snapdragon 212 will find its way inside the lowest models of Smartphones.
The Snapdragon 212 jumps to the clock speed of four Cortex-A7 cores to 1.3 GHz. The chipset is made up of 28nm process. It assists the screen resolution of 720p, and will also support 1080p video in H.264 and H.265. The technology featuring this new chipset will be able to have 8 MP cameras. The Connectivity options features CAT.4 LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n. On the other hand, its supports Bluetooth v4.1 + BLE, USB 2.0 and Quick Charge 2.0 technology.
The Snapdragon 412 SOC, on the other hand, will be having a maximum clock speed on the 64-bit capable Cortex A-53 cores to 1.4 GHz. Although. The Adreno 306 will still be able support the graphics. It is faster and advance in contrast to SD 410. The latter uses four cortex-A53 cores at a maximum limit of 1.2 GHz. The Snapdragon 412 features the screen resolution of 1200 to 1920, hence using the same 28nm predecessor. Its other qualities include Quick Charge 2.0, 13 MP cameras for video playback. It handles the connectivity of X5-LTE and Wi-Fi b/g/n, USB 2.0, and Bluetooth supports comes for version 4.1 and USB 2.0.
